Janāzah (جنازة) literally means “funeral” in English. In Islam it refers to the funeral rites for a deceased Muslim; This includes washing the deceased (ghusl), shrouding them in cloth (kafan), the funeral prayer (Salat al-Janazah), and burial.During times of loss, our masjid is here to support families with Islamic funeral services, guidance, and prayer.
May Allah grant the deceased mercy & forgiveness, expand their grave with peace, and grant patience and comfort to their loved ones.🤍🕊️“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we return.” (Qur’an 2:156)
